Frequently Asked Questions

Health and Safety

Q. Will I get motion sickness?

A. Unlike other Virtual Reality experiences that you may have tried before, Our virtual worlds are stationary. There is no movement within the game that would not naturally occur in real life, eliminating the disconnect in your equilibrium that typically causes VR sickness. While we cannot 100% guarantee that you will not get sick, we have never had a guest get VR sickness in our games, including many who have experienced motion sickness in other VR games previously.

Q. How do people avoid running into each other or into walls?

A. You will be able to see your friends in the game, much as you would in real life, though you will look like a character in the game, not your real self. Using the highest technology in computer tracking, cameras are capturing your movement and allowing you to see where everyone else is in the game, matching up your position in the real world. There are also clear boundaries within the game alerting you before you leave the play area. As long as you pay attention and follow the instructions, your experience will be safe.

Q. How do you clean and sanitize your equipment?

A. All of our equipment is sanitized between each player, including headsets, lenses and hand pieces. We use a skin-safe disinfectant.

Game Play

Q. How many people can play at once?

A. Up to 6 players can fit into one space at a time. Our standard online booking will allow you to schedule up to 6 players. We can accommodate more than 6 players by adding additional rooms. Please contact us at 435-843-9900 to schedule for larger group.

Q. Can I play by myself?

A. All of our games are multi-player games, and you need other people to complete some of the tasks. All rooms can be successfully completed with a minimum of 2 players. But more is easier!

Q. How long are the games?

A. All of our escape rooms have a play time of 45 minutes. There is additional time in setting up, receiving instructions, and in the after game debrief, so plan on about an hour. Laserbots is a shorter, 10 minute puzzle game.

Q. How much does it cost?

A. Our escape rooms are $22/player. Want to extend your play time? Ask about booking back to back escape rooms for 20% off your second game.

Laserbots is $6/player.

Q. I own a VR headset, can't I just play this at home?

A. In short, no. Our games are not your at-home VR experience. Without high end gaming equipment, you would be unable to set up a free roam arena with your consumer headsets. Our games are also not available to consumers. Come in and try it - you'll soon see why it's a step above!

Q. What if we are late for our appointment?

A. If you arrive late, we will do our best to get you into your game as quickly as possible for the max amount of game time, though your play time may need to be reduced so as to not overlap with the next guest. We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes early to make sure that you get the most out of your experience.

Q. What if we complete the room in less time?

A. Congrats! You have a team that works well together. If you finish your game with more than 10 minutes left on the clock, we will give you a free game of Laserbots!

Q. What are the physical and age requirements for play?

A. Guests need to be at least 6 years old and 48" tall to play any of our VR games. Guests must be stable on their feet. Arrangements can be made for persons in wheelchairs. No crutches are allowed.

We do not recommend this experience for people who have a seizure related condition.

Most standard glasses can be worn in the headsets, however, we do recommend wearing contacts when possible.

Q. Do you accept walk-ins?

A. We always recommend making a reservation to play. If we have an open room, we are happy to accommodate walk-ins, though it may take us approximately 15 minutes to set up your game for walk-ins.

Q. What if I cannot make it to my appointment?

A. We can easily cancel or reschedule your appointment with 24 hours notice. We know life happens sometimes, if something comes up last minute, please inform us as soon as possible. No shows will forfeit their deposit.

Q. Can you bring your escape rooms to us?

A. It is possible! See our page for corporate team building. And give us a call to discuss your event.
